The free event will take place on Tuesday 1 April 2025 at the Black Country Living Museum in Dudley between 12 noon and 2pm. Employers attending the reverse jobs fair will have the opportunity to meet a diverse pool of candidates, network with industry professionals, and learn how they can make their businesses more diverse and inclusive.

“ Walsall Council is committed to ensuring that young people in Walsall have access to meaningful career opportunities and I am delighted that we are supporting this event.

“Unlike traditional jobs fairs, a reverse jobs fair is an event for job seekers and young people to showcase their skills, experience and talents, and explain to potential employers why they would be a good fit for a job role. It’s a great way for businesses to engage with a talented, enthusiastic group of job seekers who are ready for employment.

Councillor Edward Lee
Portfolio Holder for Internal Resources at Walsall Council

A supported internship is a structured, work-based programme for young people aged 16 to 24 with an Educations, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). These internships provide hands-on experience, training, and support to help young people transition into paid employment.
