The funding was raised by The Best of Walsall business community through a fun gaming night held on Thursday 29 February 2024 at Grosvenor Casinos, Bentley Mill Way in Walsall.

“ I was blown away by the generosity shown from local businesses on the evening. The £3,500 raised is a huge boost to this year’s charity appeal, which supports local charities chosen by the Mayor during his term of office.

I extend my gratitude to businesses who are part of The Best of Walsall community and participated in the fundraising. A special thanks go to Grosvenor Casinos on Bentley Mill Way for hosting the evening, Carol Bailey Photography for capturing the night's memories and attendance from local councillors. A special thank you also goes out to everyone who came along and made the event a resounding success. “

Mayor of Walsall, Councillor Chris Towe
