Two vehicles seized in connection with fly-tipping offences across Walsall

Two vehicles linked to a series of fly-tipping incidents across Walsall have been seized as part of ongoing enforcement action.
One of the vehicles, a Ford Galaxy, had been linked to six different fly-tipping incidents across Walsall between October 2025 and January 2026.
Following its seizure on 21 February 2026, officers continue to conduct enquiries to identify the driver in order to pursue further enforcement action.
A second vehicle, a Ford Transit van, was seized on 11 February 2026. It is believed this vehicle got stuck in the mud while the driver was actively fly-tipping, resulting in it being abandoned. Investigations are ongoing to identify those connected with the vehicle.
If individuals connected to the vehicle cannot be traced, the vehicle will be destroyed.
“ Fly-tipping is a blight on our borough, and we will not hesitate to take strong enforcement action against those responsible.
“These vehicles were linked to repeated incidents that damage our communities and cost taxpayers' money to clear up. Seizing them is an important step in disrupting that activity and holding offenders to account.
“This also demonstrates how our increased investment in enforcement is delivering results. By strengthening intelligence work, expanding CCTV and working closely with partners, we are identifying offenders and taking firm action.
“I would urge residents to continue reporting fly-tipping so we can build the evidence needed to tackle this behaviour and protect our neighbourhoods. “
The vehicles were identified following intelligence gathered by Walsall Council officers investigating multiple fly-tipping offences across the borough. Working collaboratively with partners, the vehicles were located and seized, removing them from the streets while investigations progress.
Residents are encouraged to play their part by reporting fly-tipping quickly and easily online at: https://go.walsall.gov.uk/apply/myaccount-online-services/report-fly-tip or by calling 01922 653355.
