Summer ready Walsall! Much loved splash pads to re-open in Walsall

Published on

Walsall Council is pleased to announce the return of its much-loved splash pads across three locations in the borough this summer.

Splashpads

Starting from Saturday 25 May until Sunday 1 September 2024, the splash pads at Walsall Arboretum, King George V Memorial Playing Fields, and Willenhall Memorial Park will be open daily for everyone to enjoy.

“ We're delighted to be re-opening our popular splash pads for another summer. They're a great way for families to spend quality time together and they are sure to be a hit once again so please bring a towel and come along and enjoy the splashpads. “

Councillor Gary Flint, Portfolio Holder for Wellbeing, Leisure and Public Spaces at Walsall Council

The splash pads are completely free to visit and are open to children and adults. With a variety of water features, including fountains, water cannons, and spray jets, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

The splash pads are open from 11am to 5pm on weekends, school holidays and bank holidays, and from 11am to 3pm on weekdays during term time.

To keep everyone safe, children should be supervised while using the splash pads.
