Statement from the Leader of Walsall Council

The following statement has been published from the Leader of Walsall Council in relation to the theft of lead from the Council House.
Councillor Garry Perry, Leader of Walsall Council said, "I am appalled by the theft of lead from the roof of the Council House in Walsall. We are working with the police who, I am sure, are doing everything they can to catch the perpetrators. The Council House stands proudly as a testament to the history of our Borough. This is a crime against every Walsall resident."
