Stakeholders visit Bloxwich Launchpad site for construction update

Published on

Local stakeholders and delivery partners have been visiting the Bloxwich Launchpad site this month to see how the scheme is progressing.

The former post office on Market Place in Bloxwich is being refurbished and extended, to make way for a state-of-the-art facility for residents to learn and hone their digital skills, and for entrepreneurs to form and grow their businesses.

The centre will have a partnership approach and host a diverse range of providers that will enable local people to access a broad range of interventions.

Interest groups from across the borough have been staying up to date with the scheme and looking at ways to collaborate to make sure that services provided at the centre meet the needs of local people.

“ The site is looking great and you can really see it starting to take shape. Support services like this are really needed in Bloxwich and we have lots of great partner organisations working with us to design a service that works for local people “

Councillor Adrian Andrew, Associate Leader
Walsall Council

“ It’s great to see Bloxwich Launchpad coming together and it’s an excellent space. The plans look great and it’ll provide a much needed space for Bloxwich residents to learn digital skills “

James Norris, Assistant Principal
Walsall College

The new centre is due to open in Spring 2025.
