Pantomime season is on its way: Dick Whittington comes to Walsall Arena this December
Published on
It’s nearly that time of year when the stage at Walsall Arena comes alive with laughter, boos, and hisses, as the best panto in town returns to delight audiences of all ages. This December, we’re thrilled to present the classic tale of Dick Whittington, a story packed with adventure, dancing and stupendous silliness.
Join us for a whirlwind globe-trotting adventure as Dick Whittington battles the evil plans of rotten rotter the Royal Rat. Can he vanquish the varmint and become Lord Mayor of a medium sized town in the Midlands? Joined by his trusty feline sidekick, beautiful brainbox Alice Fitzwarren, legendary ship’s cook Dame Fanny Haddock and a host of other colourful characters, Dick’s journey will have audiences roaring with laughter, booing the baddies, and cheering for true love’s triumph.
“ Walsall Arena has a fantastic reputation for its fun-filled pantomimes, with each year’s show drawing bigger audiences. Last year’s production of Cinderella was a record-breaking success, and this year’s production is shaping up to be no exception. It’s the perfect way to get in the mood for Christmas, so make sure to book your tickets soon. “
Performances take place from Saturday 7 December – Saturday 22 December 2024. Tickets cost from £13 and are available at www.walsallarena.com
