New Year, New Hobby: Plenty on offer at Walsall Libraries

Published on

The start of a new year serves as the perfect opportunity to take up a new hobby, and Walsall Council’s libraries have plenty on offer to get involved with.

From knitting to Lego, board games to drawing, Walsall’s libraries have something for everyone.

There are seven libraries across the borough based in Aldridge, Bloxwich, Brownhills, Darlaston, the Lichfield Street Hub in Walsall town centre, Streetly, and Willenhall.

“ There’s such a wide range of activities taking place across Walsall, and perhaps the best new hobby for the year would be to pay a visit to your local library.

“It’s free to join any of our libraries and I would encourage everyone to explore what is on offer.

“In addition to the new hobby you may pick up, the communities that make up these groups are so warm and welcoming. “

Councillor Amandeep Garcha, Portfolio Holder for Resident Access and Housing Support at Walsall Council
