The New Art Gallery Walsall welcomes news about ACE funding

The New Art Gallery in Walsall has secured funding of £2,814,456 for the years 2023-26
Today it was announced that The New Art Gallery in Walsall has secured funding of £2,814,456 for the years 2023-26 after a successful grant offer of support from Arts Council England (ACE). The grant means that The New Art Gallery will receive £897,706 of funding each year from ACE plus an additional increase of 4.5%
This crucial funding will be used to continue to support the work of the art gallery and help deliver its exhibition and audience engagement programme.
“ Walsall Council is delighted to receive an increase in funding from Arts Council England and we are very grateful for their continuing support. This endorsement shows that Arts Council England recognises the great work that The New Art Gallery is doing within our local communities and its important contribution to the Town Centre Masterplan in attracting visitors into Walsall town centre. “
