Ramadan is a time for reflection, compassion, and giving, and this event beautifully embodied those values. Walsall is a diverse and welcoming place, and I am committed to fostering strong relationships between all our communities. “

Mayor of Walsall, Councillor Chris Towe

“ It was a pleasure to welcome everyone to the Consulate of Pakistan and I would like to thank you for giving us an opportunity to celebrate Ramadan together.

Ramadan is a month of self-accountability and self-transformation, this month gives us an opportunity to reflect on gratitude, compassion and family. As Pakistanis, we take pride in adding to the multi-ethnic, multicultural and multi-religious characteristics of our society. During Ramadan, we are reminded of our collective duty to continue to promote peace and stand against hatred or it forms. Instead, we will celebrate our differences and strengths. “
