“ It’s been great to meet so many Walsall businesses and hear how the support from Business Growth West Midlands and our Business Growth team has helped them to grow and thrive.

We’re committed to supporting local businesses to grow and stay in Walsall, and we want to simplify the process of accessing grant funding as much as possible. I hope this event has inspired other local businesses to reach out to the team and see what support is on offer “

The success stories shared by businesses highlighted how large amounts of grant funding has been secured to help businesses to purchase new machinery, or to make improvements to their premises and improve energy efficiency.

Several Walsall businesses took to the stage as part of a panel discussion, where they shared their experiences of accessing support through Business Growth West Midlands, and talked about why Walsall is a great place to do business.

Tom Cash, director of Foxmere, an automation parts supplier that trades all around the world, talked about the benefits of being based in the borough of Walsall due to its connectivity and access to diverse markets. This was a sentiment shared by the other panellists; Pete Booth, director of The Flashings Factory, Thomas Adam Operations Director for Adams Enclosures, and Tony Leaver, Director of EML Projects Ltd.
