It’s time to apply: Walsall school admissions are open for 2024

Walsall reception and junior school admissions for September 2024 are open for applications.
Children born between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020 are due to start reception in September 2024.
“ Starting school and moving onto further stages of education are important milestones for children and their families.
We’d like to remind parents and carers that having a place in the nursery class attached to a school does not guarantee a place in the reception class at that school, and you must send a separate application for a place in the reception class.
Children born between 1 September 2016 and 31 August 2017 are due to transfer from infant to junior school in September 2024. If your child attends an infant school, you'll need to apply to join the partner junior school. “
The closing date for on-time applications to be submitted is 15 January 2024 (10pm).
