Half-Term fun at Walsall Leisure Centres

Walsall’s leisure centres are offering a wide range of activities to keep children and families entertained this February half-term.
From Monday 16 February to Sunday 22 February 2026, Bloxwich, Oak Park, Walsall Gala, and Darlaston Leisure Centres will open their doors for a variety of sessions designed to keep children and families entertained and active. The programme features everything from public swimming to pool inflatables fun sessions, Big Bounce events to roller skating, catering for all ages and skill levels.
“ With the half-term kicking off, our leisure centres are jam-packed with activities to entertain and keep everyone active. From swimming sessions to our Big Bounce events where kids can jump into inflatable fun, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
These activities support our wider goals of helping residents lead healthy and happy lives. These sessions form part of our wider physical activity strategy to increase wellness across the borough, so I encourage families to book early as places go quickly. “
Highlights include:
Children’s Learn to Swim Crash Course
Perfect for building water confidence, Bloxwich Active Living Centre is hosting an intensive swimming lesson course between Monday and Friday. Call 01922 652900 to book.
- Times: 10.30am–11.00am or 11.00am–11.30am.
- Groups: Beginners (3-4 years) and Beginners (5-8 years). Price: £32.40 per child.
Big Bounce Inflatable Events
- Oak Park Active Living Centre: Monday 16 February
- Bloxwich Active Living Centre: Friday 20 February
- Booking: Secure your spot at bigbounceevents.co.uk/tickets.
Roller Skating
- Bloxwich: Thursday (10.00am–12.00pm) and Sunday (10.30am–12.30pm).
- Oak Park: Wednesday (1.30pm–3.30pm) and Saturday (1.00pm–3.00pm).
- Sessions are just £6.85 per person. Skate hire available for £2 (cash only).
Racket Sports
- Badminton: Available at Bloxwich and Oak Park (£7.65 per court) Book before 5pm, Monday to Friday.
- Squash Courts: Available at Oak Park (£7.00 per court).
- Table Tennis: Available at Bloxwich, Oak Park, and Walsall Gala
- Equipment available for hire.
