There’s plenty of activity taking place at Walsall’s Leather Museum and The New Art Gallery Walsall, this February Half Term.

Lunar New Year

Saturday 21 February, 12pm-4pm

Free admission, drop-in sessions

Join the team to celebrate Lunar New Year. This year is Year of the Fire Horse. Activities include:

  • Lion dance performance
  • Horse lanterns with artist, Benny Semp
  • Stories of The Great Race Legend accompanied by traditional Guzheng sounds
  • Glitter Tattoos with Creative Factory

Sunday 15 February – Monochrome Making – get creative using black and white materials.

Sunday 22 February – Blended Oil Pastel Flowers – draw colourful flowers using oil pastel techniques.
