Free ‘Hearts and Crafts’ sessions for Walsall families this half term

Families across Walsall are being invited to join a series of free “Hearts and Crafts” sessions this February half term, offering children aged 0-5 a morning of Valentine’s Day themed fun and creativity.
Hosted by the council’s Family Hubs team, each event includes craft activities, storytelling, play opportunities and even a complimentary photo for families. The events are also a good opportunity for parents to find out more about Family Hubs, including where they are and what they offer.

“ Come along to our Family Hubs this half term for some free family fun. All the sessions are Valentine’s themed and we’re even providing a complimentary family photograph for those who attend.
These sessions are a great opportunity for families to meet and connect with other families in their local community, and an opportunity for them to learn about Family Hubs and how they can support all families to have the best possible start in life. “
The Hubs offer a one‑stop shop for local families, offering play sessions, learning activities, health and wellbeing support, and access to partner organisations all under one roof. The council has four Family Hubs across the borough and an additional nine ‘community spokes’ based in voluntary and community buildings.
