Drop-in sessions to assist parents with secondary school applications

Published on

Walsall Council is hosting drop-in sessions at various locations throughout the borough to assist parents and carers in completing their online secondary school 2024 applications.

Admissions

The deadline for applications is Tuesday 31 October 2023, and parents are urged to apply as soon as possible to avoid missing out on a place at their preferred school.

The sessions will provide parents with the opportunity to ask questions and receive support from experienced staff members. Parents are encouraged to bring along any documents they may need, such as their child's birth certificate and proof of address.

“ We know that completing school applications can be a daunting task for parents, so we are pleased to be offering these drop-in sessions to provide support and guidance. Our experienced staff will be on hand to answer any questions parents may have and to help them complete their applications online.

We encourage all parents who are applying for a secondary school place for their child to attend one of our drop-in sessions. I encourage all parents and carers of children born between 1 September 2012 and 31 August 2013 to come along to one of our sessions. Our staff will be happy to help you with every step of the application process. “
