Community Grants UK Shared Prosperity Fund Round 7 Open - Submission deadline 7 April 2024
Published on
Walsall Council Community Grants are funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UK SPF) Programme, which is distributing just over £249,000.00 in small grants in Walsall between 2022 and 2025.
Grants of between £5,000 and £20,000 are available for small charities or not-for-profit voluntary sector organisations (VSO), who are established, based, and providing services in the Walsall borough. Community Grants projects are required to deliver activities to assist Walsall residents, to access volunteering opportunities and improve health and well-being. The contractual outcomes are as follows:
- Number of organised volunteering roles supported as a direct result of the intervention. This includes opportunities for people to volunteer on a regular basis, and opportunities for one-off volunteering.
- Formal volunteering refers to those who have given unpaid help via a group, club, or organisation: for example, leading a group, administrative support or befriending or mentoring people.
Within your application, please describe what activities you aim to deliver (minimum of 12 hours) along with the numbers of participants you are aiming to engage to achieve this outcome. Participants must be aged 16 years and over, have the right to live and work within the UK and access to public funds. All projects must be delivered within 6 months.
This round will close on 7 April 2024, all applications and supporting documents must be received by email to: communitygrants@walsall.gov.uk
