From crafting sessions for children to live music and tea parties for the community, there is something for everyone to remember and celebrate this significant historical milestone.

“ Our libraries are vital spaces for our communities and it's wonderful to see them offering such a diverse range of activities to commemorate the 80th anniversary of VE Day and remember all who served in World War II.

These events provide a fantastic opportunity for residents of all ages to come together, learn about this important period in our history and celebrate the peace that followed. We encourage everyone to get involved and join in. “

Councillor Amandeep Garcha, Portfolio Holder for Resident Access and Housing Support at Walsall Council
