The free, drop-in event will take place on Saturday, 14 November 2026, from 11am to 3pm, offering a vibrant day filled with culture, creativity, and connection for people of all ages.

Attendees can look forward to a rich program of live artistic performances, including classical Indian Bharatanatyam dance by Jnan Deep Kundu, poetry recitations by Rupinder Kaur, and dynamic dance showcases from Angeli Das & Co.

Visitors can also get hands-on with creative arts workshops led by local artists Daya Bhatti and Nilupa Yasmin, experience traditional Mehndi body artistry by Mrs Bedi, and sample delicious treats provided by Hargun Sweet Centre throughout the afternoon.

“ Diwali Community Day is a wonderful highlight in our town’s cultural calendar. It is a wonderful day that brings our diverse communities together in celebration of light, unity, and shared culture. The New Art Gallery Walsall has put together an extraordinary lineup of dance, poetry, food, and creative workshops, and I encourage everyone to drop in with their family and friends to experience this joyous event." “
