Apprenticeship Show taking place in Walsall this week

An event where people can find out about local apprenticeship opportunities is happening this week in Walsall – and over 300 people have already signed up.
Hosted by Walsall Works, the Apprenticeship Show will take place at the New Art Gallery on Thursday 5 February from 4-7pm. The event aims to support local people to take the first step towards a rewarding and sustainable career, with apprenticeships offering a combination of on-the-job paid work with time allocated for training and study.
A range of local businesses and training providers with live apprenticeship vacancies will be in attendance for people to speak and connect with, including:
- Barnardo’s
- Birmingham Electrical Training
- In-Comm Training
- Performance Through People
- The Royal Air Force (RAF)
- Walsall College
There is plenty of sector diversity on offer too, with employers from construction, engineering, logistics, social care, education, IT and technology all on hand to speak with those interested.
Walsall Council remains committed to bridging the gap between education and employment, ensuring residents, particularly young people, have the right advice, confidence, and opportunities to succeed.
