Accessible information for new Emergency Alerts System now available

A suite of accessible information for the Government's new Emergency Alerts System is now available and includes an easy read document and BSL videos.
The Emergency Alert System will enable people to be contacted via their mobile phone when lives are in danger.
The Government has released various accessible versions of the information.
An easy read version of the information is available via this link and there are BSL videos available on Youtube.
An Emergency Alert is a loud, siren-like sound with a message on your screen. The Emergency Alert test will take place at 3pm on Sunday 23 April 2023.
