Director of Adult Social Care

Walsall is on an ambitious and transformational journey of growth. £1.5billion has been secured to transform the borough, making the most of Walsall's industrial heritage and its location at the heart of the country. Together with our partners we have developed We Are Walsall 2040 which is our long-term vision for the future of the Borough. It’s been shaped by the views of our residents and our businesses. This is a pivotal moment for the Council, and we are looking for inspirational leaders who can help us to drive Walsall forward and improve outcomes for our residents.

The successful candidates will become important members of our Leadership team and will play lead roles in our place-based partnerships. A recent Local Government Peer Review recognised that Walsall has undergone significant transformation and change in recent years. It highlighted many areas of good practice and recognised positive relationships between officers and elected members. We have achieved a great deal and we are looking for candidates with the vision, drive and resilience needed to build on our successes.
