Join willow artist and basketmaker, Daisy Askins, on this beginner's basketmaking course where you'll be introduced to the tools and techniques of the heritage craft of willow weaving.
Daisy will show you how to make your own small round basket, where you'll learn how to make a round base, stake up the basket, weave the sides, turn down the border and add a handle. It’s a perfect project for those who are new to willow weaving, and the course size is kept small so everyone can get all the support they need from the course tutor.
