The Inspire Group

The Inspire Group is a Walsall based community sports organisation who strive every day to Inspire Sport, Engage People, Empower Communities. For almost 10 years we have been building relationships with young people through sport in order raise aspirations so they can thrive and become the best versions of themselves. Our summer 2023 programme has two distinct offers available as part of the HAF programme. Firstly we have our multi-sports fun camps taking place at Pelsall Community Centre, and new for 2023, Goldsmith and Rivers Primary Schools. Our multi-sports fun camps provide children with a chance to take part in a wide range of sports, make friends and learn new skills. Some of the sports children get to try including tennis, basketball, tri-golf, football. We will also be using 2023 as another chance to showcase our bikeability programme that enables children to develop competence and confidence in riding bikes. The second offer have for Summer 2023 is our young leaders award for your people aged 11-16. This pick and mix offer will give young people the chance to develop employment skills for a career in sports coaching and leadership. The course will provide them with an industry recognised award and include workshops on sports coaching, health and safety and developing young athletes. Young people attending this course will be offered the chance to continue their journey with us following the HAF programme and volunteer for The Inspire Group in our wider community provision.
