Targeted Provision

Targeted Provision offers trauma-informed tuition and mentoring for young people who have found it difficult to learn in a mainstream setting. Support is delivered by experienced, trauma-aware teachers and takes place at home, in school, in community venues and online.Our approach to learning is relational. Relational Learning emphasises the importance of the trusting, meaningful relationship between tutor and young person as a catalyst for engagement. We understand that strong, nurturing relationships form the foundation for effective learning, particularly for individuals who have experienced trauma. These positive relationships foster trust and provide the emotional security required for young people to confidently explore new learning experiences. All our tutors are qualified teachers with a minimum of 2 years' experience supporting young people with additional needs. We believe that a tutor alone is not enough and so also provide a Team Around the Child in the form of SEND Support Team which includes our SENDCo, Safeguarding Team, and SEND specialist staff. This team oversees every referral, providing ongoing professional supervision to tutors and ensuring our provision meets every young person's unique needs.
