Sandwell Valley School

Sandwell Valley Independent School, Ofsted rating of Outstanding is focused on offering alternative provision to young people aged between 11 and 18 years. The provision is tailored to meet the needs of students who are not able to settle in a mainstream setting, and those with ECHPs. Sandwell Valley School is committed to academic excellence and character development of all students in school. Students are able to access GCSEs, Functional Skills, ASDAN and AQA Unit Awards. Students will also be able to undertake enrichment sessions in PHSE, Food Technology, Physical education, animal care and art. The school works in partnership with AP providers to extend opportunities for students who wish to attend work placements or vocational courses. Alongside the education provision, there is a team of pastoral staff to support, engage students through therapeutic activities and counselling. Connexions Advisor is in place to support students with post 16 options.
