Lead professional training course
As part of our partnership support, there is a bespoke lead professional training course.
This course is delivered by the Early Help partnership officers.

The aims and objectives of the lead professional training are to:
- understand and feel confident to undertake the roles and responsibilities of a lead professional
- strengthen existing knowledge of good practice and develop new skills to appropriately support children, young people and their families
- gain an all-round view of the tasks that a lead professional will undertake in coordination for children, young people and their families
- understand the Continuum of Need within the Right Help Right Time Threshold document
- understand the Early Help process, paperwork and timescales required
- recognise where to go to/ refer to for additional support
This training is delivered through Microsoft Teams. You will be sent a link 48 hours prior to training so please make sure you secure time in your diary.
