Supporting parents of all children
The health visiting service offers programmes to support parents with children aged between 0 and 5 years. These include:
- introduction to solids workshops
- behaviour management workshops
- toilet training workshop
- sleep workshops
- 1:1 infant feeding support sessions
Supporting parents of children with disabilities
There is a dedicated specialist health visiting team that offers support to parents of children who have a disability. The team also runs the Understanding Me programme for parents with children who have ASD.
Supporting parents of children in vulnerable families
There is also specific support for:
- asylum seekers
- homeless families
- Gypsies and Travellers
- other vulnerable families

ICON programme
