Early Help news
Early Help is a partnership approach, not a provision. It relies on local services working together with families.
Working together to support families, providing Early Help and eradicating silo working prevents children and young people from entering the care system. It increases their chances to have a good life, reduces the likelihood of involvement in crime and helps families into work.
Time 2 Talk
Following consultation, we refreshed our focus. The importance of providing and creating opportunities to network was strongly advocated, and we developed our ‘Time 2 Talk: Partnership, Practice and Progress’ forums.
These forums are a platform for local services to meet together, network and to:
- build capacity to improve the delivery of preventative and targeted services to meet local needs
- create opportunities for integrated partnership at a locality level
- promote the ambition and opportunities we all have for families across the borough to thrive, ensuring we don’t just ‘avoid poor outcomes’
- meet, talk, network
Come and join us! We meet bi-monthly (virtually) within each of our 4 localities.
