Ambition in Mind(AIM) is a Walsall based Alternative Provision delivering a business-led , prevention-focussed curriculum designed to support early intervention, reduce risk of permanent exclusion and prevent NEET outcomes. We provide accredited programmes in Business & Enterprise, Functional Skills, Music, Hair and Beauty, Photography and Videography, equipping learners with practical, future-ready skills linked directly to education, training and employment pathways. AIM supports both pre-16 (Years 10-11) learners who are at risk of disengagement or exclusion, and post-16 (Years 12-13) young people requiring structured progression support. Our provision can operate as: An early intervention and re-engagement pathway alongside mainstream education. A reduced timetable or blended provision A targeted Alternative Provision placement A post-16 progression and employability pathway Our approach prioritises attendance, confidence-building, accredited achievement and clear next steps. We work collaboratively with schools, Inclusion services and multi-agency partners to ensure placements are proportionate, preventative and alignes with Walsall's inclusion and participation priorities.
