Provision overview

Our Alternative Provision provides a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for young people aged 13-16 who need help to re-engage with education. We deliver a personalised curriculum that promotes academic success, emotional wellbeing, confidence, and future aspirations. As an approved OCR and Pearson examination centre, we offer a range of GCSE qualifications alongside Pearson Functional Skills in English and Mathematics. Every student also completes the Pearson Work Skills and NOCN Personal Wellbeing qualifications, developing employability, resilience, communication, teamwork, and independent living skills. We specialise in Games Design and provide engaging learning opportunities in coding, programming, robotics, artificail intelligence, cybersecurity, and 3D design and printing. These practical experiences develop creativity, problem solving, digital literacy, and the technical skills needed for future education and employment. Wellbeing is central to our provision. Through small class sizes, pesonalised timetables, differentiated teaching, mentoring, restorative practice, and strong pastoral support, we help students build confidence, improve attendance, and achieve positive outcomes. We work closely with parents, carers, schools, local authorities, and external agencies to ensure every learner receives the support they need. Our aim is to prepare young people for successful progression into further education, apprenticeships, training, or employment by combining recognised qualifications with outstanding pastoral care, innovative learning, and meaningful enrichment opportunities.
