Provision overview

ICE Education provides 'Outstanding' Alternative Provision for children and young people who are unable to access mainstream education due to behavioural, emotional, social, or mental health needs. We support pupils who are at risk of exclusion, those who are permanently excluded, and learners requiring short or long-term placements. Our provision delivers personalised programmes designed to re-engage learners, improve behaviour, and support positive academic and personal outcomes. We work closely with schools, local authorities, and families to ensure each placement meets the individual needs of the learner, creating an in-depth provision map to ensure support is tailored to the exact needs of the individual. We offer flexible packages including English and Maths, Functional Skills, GCSE support, PSHE, emotional literacy, mentoring, behaviour intervention, and support option subjects. We are a registered NCFE provider also offering Accredited Qualifications including First Aid, Sports First Aid, Health and Safety in Construction, Childcare, Health and Social Care, Food Hygiene, Art Therapy, Online Safety and more. ICE Education places relationships at the heart of its practice. Our trauma-informed approach creates a calm, structured environment where pupils feel safe, respected, and motivated to succeed. We focus on building confidence, developing positive behaviour, and preparing learners for reintegration into mainstream education or progression to further education, training, or employment. All staff are experienced teachers with enhanced DBS checks and a strong commitment to safeguarding. Robust safeguarding policies and procedures are in place and reviewed reqularly. Our provision aims to improve attendance, engagement, and behaviour while supporting pupils to achieve meaningful and sustainable outcomes.
