Spark Academy provides high-quality, trauma-informed tuition for children and young people who need a more personalised route back into learning. We support pupils with SEND, SEMH needs, anxiety, trauma, medical needs, disrupted education, risk of exclusion and those awaiting or transitioning between placements. Our aim is to help every learner belong, grow and thrive. We offere bespoke 1:1 and small-group tuition in the home, school, community or online, depending on what is safest and most effective for the learner. Programmes are tailored to EHCP outcomes, school priorities or referral targets, with baseline assessment, personalised planning and regular progress reviews built in. Our tutors combine strong subject knowledge and therapeutic, relationship-based practice. They are trained in safeguarding, SEND, SEMH and trauma-informed approaches, enabling them to rebuild confidence, re-engage pupils and support both academic and emotional progress. Families and professionals receive clear communication, attendance updates, and meaningful reports throughout. Spark Academy works in partnership with schools, local authorities and families to provide responsive, flexible support that helps children feel safe, make progress and prepare for successful reintegration or their next step.
