Mental health and wellbeing support

You can get free and confidential support to help with your mental health and wellbeing.

Support is available if you need urgent help, extra support outside normal hours, or help with everyday wellbeing.

Urgent mental health help

To get urgent mental health support, call NHS 111 and select option 2.

You can call any time, day or night. You'll speak to a trained professional who can help.

Face-to-face support outside normal hours

If you need support when most services are closed, you can visit the Rethink Sanctuary Hub.

The hub is open outside usual service hours. You don’t need an appointment, and it’s free and confidential.

You must be aged 18+ and live in or be registered with a GP in Walsall.

  • look after your mental health

You can get up to 12 weeks of support, including help with:

  • improving your wellbeing
  • being a healthier weight
  • stopping smoking
  • NHS Health Checks (for eligible residents)

Alcohol, drug and gambling support

Alcohol and drug support

Change Grow Live supports adults and young people with alcohol or drug use.

Support includes:

  • one‑to‑one and group sessions
  • prescribing and detox
  • needle exchange
  • health checks and treatment
  • help into work or training
