Have your say on the budget
The budget consultation runs from 16 October to 30 November 2025.
Anyone can have their say on:
- council spending priorities
- draft saving proposals (operational)
- capital expenditure
- thoughts around paying more council tax to protect services
In line with our statutory duty, we are also consulting non-domestic rate payers (businesses and the voluntary sector).
The consultation closes at midnight on 30 November 2025. Findings from the consultation will be considered as part of the final budget report to Cabinet on 11 February 2026.
