Have your say on the budget
The budget consultation ran from 16 October to 30 November 2025.
Anyone could have their say on:
- council spending priorities
- draft saving proposals (operational)
- capital expenditure
- thoughts around paying more council tax to protect services
In line with our statutory duty, we also consulted non-domestic rate payers (businesses).
The consultation closed at midnight on 30 November 2025. Findings from the consultation will be considered as part of the final budget report to Cabinet on 11 February 2026.
