Have your say on the budget
The budget consultation runs from 29 October to 1 December 2026.
Anyone can have their say on:
- council spending priorities
- draft saving proposals (operational)
- capital expenditure
- thoughts around paying more council tax to protect services
In line with our statutory duty, we are also consulting non-domestic rate payers (businesses and the voluntary sector).
The consultation closes at 23:59 on 1 December 2026. Findings from the consultation will be considered as part of the final budget report to Cabinet on 10 February 2027.
