Job overview | We are seeking a skilled and experienced Groundworker to join our construction team, based in Aldridge, Walsall. The role involves assisting with the installation of street furniture, including bus shelters and digital advertising screens, across various sites nationwide. Main duties and responsibilities | •Carrying out groundworks for the installation of bus shelters and digital screens •Safe excavation of site areas, including identification of underground services using CAT scanning and similar equipment •Use of handheld tools, plant, and machinery relevant to excavation and installation •Completing reinstatement works using a variety of surfacing materials, including tarmac, modular paving, and concrete •Working to tight schedules while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and health & safety compliance •Establish and maintain a safe working environment in line with relevant RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements). •Operate in full compliance with the company Health & Safety Policy, as well as current legislation, industry codes of practice, and client-specific requirements. |
