We are an established NIC EIC electrical contractor in the domestic, commercial and 
industrial sector. We work across the West and East Midlands. 

Our services cover all aspects of electrical design, installation, ongoing maintenance, and remedials.

We are seeking an experienced electrician to assist our electrician to install EV chargers as well as other electrical duties within the business, on a full-time basis, for our growing team in the Midlands.

Job overviewWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Groundworker to join our construction team, based in Aldridge, Walsall. The role involves assisting with the installation of street furniture, including bus shelters and digital advertising screens, across various sites nationwide.
You will work closely within a small, dedicated team to complete groundwork and installation tasks to a high standard. Travel is an essential part of the role, and as such, accommodation and reasonable overnight expenses will be covered. A company vehicle will be provided for travel to and from site.
Main duties and responsibilities•Carrying out groundworks for the installation of bus shelters and digital screens
•Safe excavation of site areas, including identification of underground services using CAT scanning and similar equipment
•Use of handheld tools, plant, and machinery relevant to excavation and installation
•Completing reinstatement works using a variety of surfacing materials, including tarmac, modular paving, and concrete
•Working to tight schedules while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and health & safety compliance
•Establish and maintain a safe working environment in line with relevant RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements). 
•Operate in full compliance with the company Health & Safety Policy, as well as current legislation, industry codes of practice, and client-specific requirements. 
Knowledge, qualifications and experienceEssential:
•Proven experience as a groundworker on construction or civils projects
•CSCS
•Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 points
•Sound knowledge of safe excavation practices and underground service identification

Main duties and responsibilitiesTo issue Penalty Charge Notices (PCN’s) to vehicles found to be in contravention of the parking regulations.
