Warm Walsall initiative relaunched to support residents this winter
Published on
An initiative that supports residents and communities across the Walsall borough during the colder months has relaunched.
Warm Walsall, funded by Walsall Council and the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and in partnership with Walsall Community Network and Resilient Communities VCS Locality Leads, provides a network of warm, welcoming venues for all. The initiative will run from December 2025 until February 2026.
Over 40 local organisations are opening their doors, offering safe spaces where residents can enjoy a hot drink, fill a flask and connect with others in a friendly environment. Each venue provides a warm welcome, with staff and volunteers on hand to offer support, advice and signposting to further services.
“ With the rising cost of living and increased energy bills, many communities face difficult choices. Warm Walsall offers a helping hand, ensuring that no one has to choose between heating their home and other essentials. Please take the opportunity to find out more and visit your nearest Warm Walsall venue this winter. “
“ Our local groups and organisations play a vital role in supporting our communities and residents with care and commitment. We’re proud to continue the Warm Walsall initiative, enabling venues to open their doors and offer a safe, welcoming space for everyone. While activities may differ from place to place, one thing remains the same - a warm welcome awaits you. “
All projects are listed on the Walsall Community Network website, where residents, families and professionals can find details of local venues and activities: www.walsallcommunitynetwork.co.uk. Activities may change and it is advised to check the venue before attending.
