Report a problem with a road marking
Road markings are painted lines and symbols on the road surface. They provide information and guidance to drivers, pedestrians, and other road users. If a marking is damaged or faded, you can report it.
This form is not to request new markings. Find out what we're doing about road safety and how to request new safety measures.
If the problem is on a Walsall Council car park, please email us instead.
During the winter months, it may take longer to complete works due to weather conditions.
What you need to tell us
To report a damaged road marking, you will need to tell us where it is.
Photographs of the marking that include some background will help us to identify the scale and location of the problem. Only provide photographs if it is safe to do so.

If the map says the location is not managed by Walsall Council
Find out what to do if the problem is on privately-owned land (such as social housing land and non-council car parks).
If you believe that the location you've identified belongs to Walsall Council and is not private, you can let us know and help us keep our records up to date.
