Black Country Impact is made up of four delivery partners who are located across the Black Country area. These partners are Dudley Council, Wolverhampton Council, Sandwell Council and Walsall Council.
We aim to break down the barriers of access to employment and education for our young adults by offering a unique and personalised career guidance programme.
Participants who join our programme will be assigned an Impact Advisor, who will aim to guide a young person into a positive outcome through one-to-one career support, job & course sourcing and developing an engaging development plan.
Black Country Impact has access to a diverse range of courses for participants to take part in, free of charge for eligible participants. These range from across all different sectors and are based upon overall need from the majority of our participants, making sure we're able to cater for everyone's goals and ambitions.
For those who are looking for something different, advisors and the Impact team can source one-off unique courses if the need arises, and again free of charge for the participant. If we're able to move a participant into a positive outcome, we'll look to do everything we can!
Our team also has strong ties to local employers, business and educational centres across the borough. Our advisors are able to job match participants to the latest and greatest jobs in the area, taking on board any previous skills and experience to make them the best possible candidates. Initial travel costs, equipment and supplies can also be purchased for a participant to get them towards a positive outcome.
