Practice Reflection Workshop - Theme: SEND Transition
Target Group: Level All
This training is particularly relevant for all staff, volunteers working in the statutory, voluntary, community or independent sectors
These workshops will provide some vital time out for any practitioner working with children or adults to embed good practice through reflecting on case studies. Themes for reflection will be linked to our safeguarding partnership key priorities. The workshops will also provide a great opportunity to connect with other professionals and organisations helping you to provide better support to children and adults.
This workshop will bring an opportunity to reflect on a young person currently going through transition from a child to adult. We will reflect on the barriers of providing the right support through the transition process and the impact this has on the young person, family, practitioners and organisations. This will be presented by an Adult Social Worker and Children in disability Social Worker. Through solution circles we will use the knowledge and expertise in the room to identify what the right support would look like and how this can be secured, and importantly what we expect the impact to be. This workshop is open for all agencies to attend.
