Event date: 3/24/2020 2:00 PM - 4:30 PM Export event

Date: Tuesday 24th March 2020 (2:00 -16:30)

Venue: Education Development Centre, Pelsall Lane, Rushall, WS4 1NG

Target Group: Level All

This training is particularly relevant for all staff, volunteers working in the statutory, voluntary, community or independent sectors

Aims:

This Multi-Agency workshop  will increase Practitioners’ knowledge and confidence in identifying the right level of support needed for children and young people at the right time in that persons life. These workshops will provide some vital time out for any practitioner working with children or adults to embed good practice through reflecting on case studies. Themes for reflection will be linked to our safeguarding partnership key priorities. The workshops will also provide a great opportunity to connect with other professionals and organisations helping you to provide better support to children and adults.

 Learning Outcomes:

This workshop will bring an opportunity to reflect on a family currently in need of help presented by a family support worker and their manager. We will reflect on the barriers of providing the right help and the impact this has on the family, practitioners and organisations. Through solution circles we will use the knowledge and expertise in the room to identify what the right help would look like and how this can be secured, and importantly what we expect the impact to be.
