Reedswood Park is a large park close to the Crown Wharf end of the town centre and the Reedswood Retail Park.
As well as a formal park area with a children’s play area, football and cricket pitches, and a circular path making for a perfect 1000m health walk, the site is bordered by woodland, which to the north leads to Reedswood Fishing Pool and the Victory Pools Site of Special Scientific Interest. (SSSI)
There's currently a large conservation project taking place called The Black Country Blue Network, which involves close partnership working between the City of Wolverhampton Council, Walsall Council, the Environment Agency, the Canal and River Trust, and the Wildlife Trust for Birmingham and the Black Country.
For more information about this project please follow the link to the main Black Country Blue Network page. To see how this project will be affecting Reedswood Park specifically please follow the link for 'Reeds, Wood, and Water.'
There's no dedicated car parking for the site; however there are several potential parking spots up and down Bentley Lane. The park is also well serviced by the 41 bus route.
Other green spaces nearby include the Black Country Urban Forest and Rough Wood Chase, both also along Bentley Lane.
