Pelsall Village Common is a large and well used public open space, nestled just south of Pelsall High Street. The site is unique in that it is split into four, by the B4154 and Vicarage Road. The North West quarter, nearest the High Street, features a children’s play area; and the north east quarter of the site is used extensively by sporting teams, and is also flat enough to cater for carnival and funfair events in the summer.
The two southern sections of the common are managed with wildlife in mind, with rides cut through in the summer to allow walking through and permit access to Heath End Pool.
There is no dedicated car parking for the site; however the site is a two minute walk from Pelsall High Street where parking is available. there are bus stops along the B4154 road for the 3, 3A, 3C, 8, 89, 159, 159A and 745 bus roots, also there are bus stops on Vicarage road for the 25, 25S, 89, 159 and 159C bus roots.
Other green spaces close by include Holland Park, Stubbers Green Local Nature Reserve, and Brownhills Common. It’s also a stone throw from Pelsall Village tennis courts.
