The park is close to Darlaston town centre. It has a picnic area and a mix of wooded areas and open grassland. Kings Hill Park has a Green Flag award.
The park has flat, tarmac surfaced paths in the northern section close to the play area and gym equipment. They are suitable for wheelchair users, people with mobility impairments and pushchairs. All pathways offer at least 1100mm width for wheelchairs and many pathways allow for turning (1500-2000mm). There are no paths from Forge Street car park or the pavilion connecting to the northern section of the park.
The access gate on Darlaston Road is wide enough (1220mm) for wheelchair access. Other gates have K-gate security measures. These barriers range from 810mm to 860mm, floor to bottom of the squeeze plate and the squeeze plate is at least 580mm wide.

The Pavilion has wide doors (1000mm) to provide wheelchair access and an accessible (2.2m X 1.5m wide) toilet. The facilities include an outward-opening door, corner layout, grab rails, a higher level pan (470mm from floor to rim) and is accessible with a left hand transfer using a drop rail. The wash basin has a lever tap and an easily-accessible emergency pull cord.
There is a wheelchair accessible outdoor gym. It has a range of specialist equipment, including:

- seatless bike

Getting to Kings Hill Park
Several bus companies run services that will take you near to the park including Thandi Transport, Diamond and National Express West Midlands. The nearest bus stops are on Darlaston Road - Bus 79 or Old Park Road - Bus 65.
The School Street entrance is the best place to drop off passengers. The car park is accessible from Forge Street. View opening times for the on-site car park.
