Running your own events
If you are interested in using one of our parks and green spaces for your own event, this is also where you can contact our Healthy Spaces to inquire about booking a venue – some of our parks have pavilion buildings with electricity, football pitches, and circular walks which could be used depending on the nature of your event. You will need to complete an Events Application Form for any event in a park, which will include any certificates or equipment details you would need; and depending on the nature of your event you may be required to attend one of our Safety Advisory Group meetings as well. This form is available from our team using the contact details below, please use the contact details at the bottom of the page to contact us; our team is happy to help at all stages of organising your event.
The Council also offers pieces of equipment that you may be interested to hire for various events, with these available for groups using parks and green spaces for an event, or in schools as well. These include our six-person trampoline, our MOVE Truck, and the Reach Up tower.
For more details of events, activities, or the availability of hiring our MOVE Truck, trampoline, or Reach Up tower, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org , or ask for the Healthy Spaces Team on 01922653344
