Employees are instructed to:

  • Stay away from work if you have symptoms or a member of your household has symptoms
  • Let your employer know you have symptoms
  • Get tested if you have symptoms
  • Follow the guidance and isolate
  • wash your hands regularly

Speaking about the guidance, Deputy Leader of Walsall Council, Cllr Adrian Andrew said:

“I’d like to thank the people of Walsall for the steps they’ve taken to keep their families, friends and neighbours safe. Now, as more businesses reopen, we must remain vigilant. There is a host of useful information available on the council web site and I would encourage employers and employees to access it so we can all be work safe in Walsall.”
