The national lockdown regulations as of 5 November mean that all Walsall Council leisure and cultural facilities are now closed until early December.
Libraries
Closures include the Lichfield Street Hub & Archives in Walsall, all five district libraries (Aldridge, Bloxwich, Brownhills, Darlaston and Willenhall) and Streetly Community Library, as well as the Ring and Read and mobile services which have also ceased operations. A home delivery service linked to community hubs will be available – updates will follow.
The New Art Gallery Walsall, the Leather Museum and Walsall Arena & Arts Centre are also closed.
Fitness & Leisure
The four active living centres (ALCs) at Oak Park, Bloxwich, Gala Baths and Darlaston have closed.
Please be aware:
- ALC payments from customers have now been stopped and any sessions already paid for will be credited or refunded to you.
- A series of frequently asked questions are answered on our leisure website at www.walsall.gov.uk/leisure_and_sports/COVID-19 .
Further advice and guidance around leisure and culture and wider online services can be found on the council websites.
