Walsall Council is currently unable to accept incoming calls from withheld/anonymous numbers. We are working with our technical teams to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

If you dial the team you wish to speak to without withholding your number these calls are unaffected.

Today, Walsall Council is raising a Green Flag Award at Blackwood Park, Fibbersley Local Nature Reserve, King George V Playing Field, Kings Hill Park, Merrions Wood, Palfrey Park, Walsall Arboretum and Willenhall Memorial Park. The award is the international quality mark for parks and green spaces.

Families urged to meet the 31 October national deadline for secondary school places

Parents and carers are being urged to submit their applications for a secondary school place for entry into year 7, for their child before the national application deadline on 31 October 2021. Children born between 1 September 2010 and 31 August 2011 are due to transfer to a secondary school (year 7) in September 2022.

Ashley Copson who attended Pool Hayes Academy, Willenhall is one of an amazing group of young people that have been selected to receive a Young Active Citizens Award. From 38 nominations, twelve were chosen to meet the Lord-Lieutenant John Crabtree OBE to receive their prize at a special ceremony held at Acme Whistles in Birmingham.
