Council Leader offers condolences to family of Mylee Billingham

Leader of Walsall Council, Sean Coughlan said: “I am in shock and in complete disbelief to hear that a little girl has lost her life in such a tragic way. My heart goes out to everyone who has been affected by this incident. The entire area will be left reeling in deep shock of her death. As a Council, we are working with the school she attended to give support to her classmates and their families as well as staff . I would like to offer my deepest condolences to Mylee’s family.”

Henry Boot Developments identified as preferred developer for ‘Phoenix 10’

Walsall Council and Homes England have announced that Henry Boot Developments Ltd (HBD) have been identified as the preferred development partner for ‘Phoenix 10’, a major 44 acre industrial site located between junctions 9 and 10 of the M6, Walsall.

This is an important milestone for this high profile site, which is located within the Black Country Local Enterprise Partnership’s (BCLEP) Black Country Enterprise Zone (BCEZ). It marks a major step forward in the process of bringing the site back to life, as well as boosting job creation and investment in the town.
