Phased re-opening of council markets continues at Willenhall

Willenhall Market is the next of the borough’s popular markets to start trading on Friday 26 June and Saturday 27 June, followed by Wednesday 1st July.  All of the regular and established traders at the Market are set to return and customers can expect to see their favourite stalls and traders back in action.

Council supports rollout of laptops for vulnerable children

Walsall Council has been working hard to ensure that laptops provided by national government are prepared, ready for use and distributed to vulnerable pupils in the borough. Over 800 laptops have been received from the Department for Education to date with further devices due to arrive towards the end of June. Council teams are ready to spring into action when they do and ensure that these are deployed to those children most in need.
